With effect from 1 February 2019, AFFINBANK and AFFIN ISLAMIC shall revise the AFFIN Rewards Point Redemption Value for both AFFINBANK Credit Card and AFFIN ISLAMIC Credit Card-i downwards.

With the revision on the rewards point redemption value, this would put AFFINBANK Credit Card and AFFIN ISLAMIC Credit Card-i reward points to be competitive with other Banks. This move is aligned to the strategic direction of the Bank to harmonize the rewards point value moving forward.

Essentially, earning and redeeming AFFINBANK Credit Card and AFFIN ISLAMIC Credit Card-i remains unaffected. The respective AFFINBANK Credit Card and AFFIN ISLAMIC Credit Card-i propositions remain unchanged.

For example, AFFINBANK World Mastercard Credit Card offers 1x rewards points for domestic transaction and 3x rewards points for overseas transaction. This product proposition remains unchanged even after the AFFIN Rewards Points redemption value revision.

The revision of the rewards point redemption value for AFFIN Bank Credit Card and AFFIN ISLAMIC Credit Card-i is illustrated as per the following table:
